HARVEY C. LISLE - SOIL SCIENTIST, DOWSER
Harvey C. Lisle graduated in 1937 from Ohio State University with a degree in chemical Engineering. After serving for five years in the U.S. Air Force during WWII, Mr. Lisle became active in the organic movement, which was then in its infancy. Mr. Lisle was the state president in Ohio of the Natural Foods Associates, served as board member of Biodynamic Association for seven years, and is a founding member of the Ohio Ecological Food and Farming Association. In addition, he has been a lifetime member of the Anthroposophical Society founded by Rudolph Steiner.
In 1984, Mr. Lisle became a dowser while traveling with an agricultural group in Egypt and Greece. Since his retirement, Mr. Lisle selects his own research projects and is currently researching the cause of colony collapse disorder which is killing bees worldwide. Mr. Lisle is the author of the book The Enlivened Rock Powders, which discusses the relationship of rocks and rock powders to planetary influences.
